The bottom section for grades maybe, but the players here showed every bit as much determination as in the higher sections. Conrad Green started with three straight wins to lead by a clear point going into Sunday. Amongst those in joint second at the time were his father Eliot. However Carl Mustafa put an end to the possibility of a family bust-up in the final round by beating Conrad in round 4. This set up the intriguing possibility of a six way tie for first as the last round commenced. However Kamal Kabiri and Robert Brock held their nerves best to be crowned joint winners with scores of 4 out of 5. Oliver Brock won the junior prize, while the overall competitveness can be gauged from the fact that no-one emerged unbeaten in this section.
