2015 Congress Dates 11 - 13 September
The Leek Chess Congress has become a regular fixture in September. From the point of view of entries there are no sections, - entrants are listed in descending grade order and then placed in graded sections of about 36 players.
A team competition runs based on results within the congress, so encourage your clubmates to turn out.
Local players will also be competing for the Landon Memorial Trophy.
The venue, Westwood College (formerly High School) Leek ST13 8NP, is in pleasant grounds; whilst the moorland area surrounding Leek is well known for its beauty.
Time Controls
110 minutes plus 10 seconds per move made.
Playing times
Friday 1900 - 2300
Saturday and Sunday both 1000 - 1400 and 1445 - 1845.

Fees
£20, but £17 for those under 18 or over 65 on 1st September 2015.
£2 discount for entries received before 1st September.
Entries on the day £5 surcharge.
Entrants who are not members of the ECF at silver level or above will be charged a £7 supplement (£5 juniors).
