Chess is finding it very difficult to maintain a presence at adult level in Herefordshire, with there being apparently only one club (outside of schools) in the county. Further the club does not get to play in any leagues - presumably the surrounding counties regard Hereford as being too far outside of their own boundaries to be included in their leagues.
